Jessica Winter has revealed plans for her debut album.
The dark-pop artist has been a favorite at CLASH for quite some time, showcasing her unique talent through captivating live performances.
Titled simply ‘My First Album,’ the album is set to be released on July 11th via Lucky Number, with Jessica Winter stating...
“‘My First Album’ conceptually revolves around ‘somebody’ who aspires to become a star, seeking to fill the void within herself. Throughout this journey, she encounters various diversions and adventures involving different people, places, and experiences. Ultimately, it is a journey of self-discovery and realization, recognizing that the most important thing is to love oneself.”
Jessica Winter will give a preview of the upcoming album with a performance on April 15th at the prominent London venue, the Divine.
The new single ‘All I Ever Really Wanted’ is out now – a gothic pop track featuring a captivating chorus that seeks to recontextualize fantasy, encouraging us to reconnect with reality in our everyday lives.

“When fantastical expectations are set too high, reality often feels disappointing. As an artist, imagining is part of the process, but it can negatively affect you if you constantly fantasize and neglect to appreciate the tangible aspects of life. It’s a reflection of life collapsing amidst delusional bliss.”
