Rod Stewart has unveiled his plans for a new collection titled ‘Ultimate Hits’.
The iconic UK singer will grace Glastonbury this summer, taking on the festival’s coveted Legends slot. Following in the footsteps of the likes of Diana Ross and Shania Twain, Rod the Mod will showcase his timeless elegance at Worthy Farm.
As one of the weekend’s most eagerly awaited performances, Rod Stewart is currently on a notable run – his wildly successful One Last Time tour will kick off another European leg on April 23rd; he will return for his record-breaking Las Vegas residency, The Encore Shows, in May and September; and he will also take the One Last Time tour to North America and South America before finishing the year in Europe.
It's time for a career overview. The ‘Ultimate Collection’ fulfills its promise by offering a comprehensive look at a significant figure in pop culture, tracing his journey from his early 70s beginnings to his rise to stardom and enduring presence in the 21st century.
Rod expresses, “I love what I do, and I do what I love…”
Set for release on June 27th, the compilation will be available in various formats, including a collector’s 2LP green vinyl, half green-and-white vinyl variants, a standard 1CD and deluxe 2CD edition, store-exclusive alternative cover versions, as well as limited-edition cassette and Blu-ray audio, in addition to being available digitally.
