Emerging DJ and producer Arthi collaborates with club music icon Roska for the exhilarating new single ‘Hot Minute’, set to release on April 4th through Rinse. The initial version of the track is primed for the dancefloor, enhancing the momentum of Arthi’s debut, ‘Run It For Me’. Following that, a second rendition featuring the unique vocals of Saïna (Sa-ee-na) will be released, introducing a new aspect to the project.

As a daring and spirited declaration, ‘Hot Minute’ exemplifies Arthi’s vibrant approach to club music. The piece melds driving beats with Roska’s signature style, creating a high-energy anthem that is sure to spark movement on dancefloors around the globe. With a reputation for genre-blending, Arthi further demonstrates her ability to create a seamless mix of styles.

This release comes on the heels of Arthi’s impressive BBC Radio 1 Residency earlier this year (Jan 9 – Jan 30, 2025), marking a significant achievement in her swiftly advancing career. She is also poised to perform her largest headline show to date at the famous KOKO this October, solidifying her status as a formidable presence in the club scene.

Arthi’s momentum remains relentless, with a packed tour schedule that includes the Clash Live @ STEREO event next Thursday, April 17th. Get your free tickets HERE.

Her international performances fuse high-energy club sounds that range from dancehall to baile funk, garage, bassline, and more. When she’s at the helm, dance takes center stage, driven by her contagious energy and vibrant mixes that keep audiences on their feet. Her event, We’re gonna Arthi Hard – inspired by Donae’o’s UK funky anthem, celebrates the bond between music and dance, featuring dancers and DJs sharing the stage amidst a lively array of influences. This party has swept across London, hosting a series of sold-out shows that unite scene legends and emerging talents, from Katy B to S!rene, Manara, and G33.

Roska is a pivotal figure in the UK funky narrative, a crucial yet often underappreciated sound from the UK underground. He is a vital, continually innovative producer, combining elements of grime, soca, house, and much more into a dynamic, ever-evolving sound. His collaborative approach with various artists not only propels projects but also allows his individual creativity to shine.

The cherished Rinse FM resident has toured Europe and India, and hosted a sold-out residency at London’s Phonox, reinforcing her strong presence in the industry. She has graced festivals such as Glastonbury, Leeds Festival, and Love Saves The Day, among others.

Since the initial surge of underground electronic music in the UK, Roska has been a significant player. Wayne Goodlitt, known professionally as Roska, is a British music producer, remixer, and DJ celebrated for his unique skippy drum patterns and vibrant club tracks. Over his 16-year career, he has made a name for himself as a key figure in the UK’s underground electronic music scene.

Roska has performed globally across Europe, the USA, and Asia, showcasing his widespread appeal. He has also played a vital role as a mentor and label owner, consistently revealing new talent in the scene. His talent for adaptation and innovation is clear in his explorations of techno and tribal house under the alias Bakongo, along with his projects in dancehall production.

Roska's contributions have been crucial in the development of genres like UK funky, merging electronic dance music with African and Caribbean rhythms. His debut full-length album, “Roska” (2010), is viewed as a landmark release in the UK funky genre. His commitment to sonic exploration ensures his influential role in the UK music landscape will continue to flourish.
