UK indie band Chartreuse has announced their upcoming album ‘Bless You & Be Well’.

The quartet launched their debut album ‘Morning Ritual’ in 2023, and Clash captured their performance at SXSW last year.

During their appearance at Brighton’s Great Escape festival earlier this year, Chartreuse shared that they had been creating new material.

The new album ‘Bless You & Be Well’ is set to release on August 29th and focuses on the artistic – and personal – relationship between Rory Wagstaff and Hattie Wilson.

Recorded in Iceland with producer Sam Petts-Davies, the album features the lead single ‘Fold’.

Regarding the track, pianist and vocalist Hattie Wilson states: “‘Fold’ is a quirky love song. It expresses the desire to make everything right when the other person is going through a tough time. It captures the feeling of being out of control and the inability to instantly fix their troubles, while desperately trying to restore normalcy.”

“Rory and I have been together for nearly thirteen years, and this song reflects our journey through various life stages together; celebrating milestones, witnessing each other's growth and changes — all while remaining deeply connected and in love.”
