Irish artist For Those I Love will unveil a new album titled ‘Carving The Stone’ on August 8th.

The songwriter's remarkable self-titled debut album received widespread acclaim upon its release in 2021, featuring a viral remix by the acclaimed duo Overmono.

Over the weekend, For Those I Love performed twice at Glastonbury—once solo and once as a guest with Overmono.

The new album ‘Carving The Stone’ is set to be released on August 8th through September Recordings, with the lead single ‘No Scheme’ available now.

Describing a narrative of life amidst the fatigue of daily struggles, he introduces the song by saying…

‘No Scheme’ serves as the spiritual successor to ‘Top Scheme’, being the only track on the new album directly linked to the previous one. While it maintains the same chaotic essence as ‘Top Scheme’, ‘No Scheme’ swaps some of its anger for despondency and its rage for reflection, yet it never fully abandons that original intensity. Much like the album it belongs to, it occasionally directs its gaze outward but also turns it inward.

Hypocrisy, complacency, and accountability are all evident, along with a quest for justice or meaning in an increasingly perplexing era. A lot has changed since I composed it, but I remain as dedicated as ever to sharing it with all of you.

      Listen now.
