Sir Chloe reveals the title of their second album, ‘Swallow The Knife,’ and has released a new song titled ‘The Hole.’

Indie-rock artist Sir Chloe is returning with a brand new album! The renowned singer-songwriter Dana Foote will release their second album, Swallow The Knife, on August 22nd this year. The new record, which includes 11 tracks, was recorded in London with Sir Chloe handling the writing, singing, guitar, and synth parts. Drums were played by Sarah Jones, known for her work with Harry Styles, and the production was managed by Steph Marziano, a producer for Hayley Williams. The announcement of the album coincides with the release of a new track, 'The Hole,' which was reportedly inspired by a challenging emotional period. “At the time I wrote this song, I was in a deep, dark, ugly place with no escape in sight,” the artist shared regarding the new song. ‘The Hole’ was inspired by Sir Chloe's visit to the MASS MOCA exhibition by Taryn Simon titled ‘The Cold Hole.’ “It featured a snow-covered room with a deep black circular ice plunge at its center,” they describe. “Museum visitors could volunteer to plunge into it while others observed, almost as if it were a zoo exhibit. After experiencing ‘The Cold Hole,’ I began referring to the deep, dark winters of our lives as ‘The Hole.’” Listen to the new single here. The album and single announcement also includes news of a major North American tour, featuring 36 dates in cities including New York and Los Angeles. Below is the complete tour schedule:
