Discussions in Baku indicate that Christian Horner might leave Red Bull with a severance package nearing $100 million. "There’s a lot of speculation," former F1 driver Christijan Albers shared with Viaplay. "I’m quite surprised, as I heard today that they are negotiating a severance payment of nearly a hundred million."

Horner, who was removed following a prolonged internal power struggle that began with last year’s sexting scandal, has not yet revealed his plans for the future in Formula 1. It is believed he had five years remaining on his contract with Red Bull.

"Then I thought, how can that be?" Albers went on. "He was making eight million a year, which totals to forty million. Where did the extra sixty million originate?"

"There are numerous rumors circulating," the Dutchman remarked. "I’ve heard he might even consider buying into Haas. There were also speculations about him going to Cadillac, but that female employee is now at Cadillac. That’s the source of the lawsuit, so I’d dismiss that possibility.

"We also see him showing interest in Alpine and Haas, but he needs to wait to see if there’s a settlement first."
