DEADLETTER Reveal Upcoming Album ‘Existence Is Bliss’

DEADLETTER is set to release their new album ‘Existence Is Bliss’ on February 27th.

The band returns with their saxophone-infused sound, undergoing a phase of creative growth on this upcoming album.

Scheduled for release on February 27th through SO Recordings, ‘Existence Is Bliss’ addresses our contemporary discontent, blending their post-punk foundations with some quirky pop influences.

In introducing the album, Deadletter states…

“We are completely surrounded by impurity and subjected to the fatigue left behind by its unyielding grip. Choosing to live within this reality, rather than simply exist in it, is, to paraphrase a notable philosopher, an act of heroism. The allure of choosing the latter is a powerful and familiar feeling, yet, to gaze deeply into one’s own reflection, to embrace life’s challenges and use the world’s breath not merely to survive, but to act and to indulge; that defines our humanity. Existence is Bliss, but to TRULY LIVE is a profound struggle with rewards that are limitless.”

The band’s latest single ‘To the Brim’ is available now, alongside announcements of an extensive UK tour, featuring a headlining performance at London’s KOKO venue.

      Regarding the single, Deadletter remarks:

‘To the Brim’ delves into the feelings associated with confronting denial and how it can leave you feeling immobilized and overwhelmed (brimming!) with despair. Musically, we sought a fresh beginning, perhaps as a reaction to that denial.

      Listen now.

Stellantis' American brands are actively working to reintroduce the Hemi V8, with the Dodge Durango at the forefront. Initially, when the company revealed plans to bring back the SRT Hellcat variant, it stated that sales would not be permitted in 17 states adhering to California Air Resources Board (CARB) emissions standards. However, that restriction has now been lifted in 10 states, leaving just seven where sales are still not allowed.

“In October, the Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat received approval for orders in 10 more CARB states, which include Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Virginia,” a Stellantis statement indicates. “It remains unavailable for sale in 7 states, down from 17 in August 2025. We are continuing to address policy changes and expect to be approved for orders in all 50 states by the end of this year. We plan to start orders for the Durango R/T 392 in the first quarter of 2026.”

The company seems optimistic about making the super SUV available nationwide soon. This development is surprising compared to the situation last summer, prompting us to inquire with Dodge about what changed. Were there any mechanical modifications? Did political dynamics shift? The phrase “work through policy changes” suggests some movement, but despite multiple inquiries, they have not provided a definitive answer.

Currently, only California, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and Washington remain as the states where the 710-horsepower Durango Hellcat cannot be purchased.

It’s possible that by January, the situation may evolve. However, it’s important to point out that non-Hellcat Durangos featuring the 5.7-liter V8 are available nationwide, as well as the 6.4-liter R/T model. Dodge mentioned back in August that the 360-hp Hemi would be the standard engine for future Durango production, with the V6 limited to fleet sales. Nonetheless, the brand's vehicle search tool continues to list numerous V6-powered GT vehicles on dealership lots, for those who might find 295 hp sufficient.
