Ahead of the launch of her second album, ‘Describe,’ Hannah Jadagu offered a two-song performance at Paulie Gee’s Slice Shop in partnership with The Wild Honey Pie, aiming to support Kiss the Ground, a nonprofit dedicated to soil regeneration and health.

There are few experiences I cherish more than meeting one of my favorite artists face-to-face, especially over a slice of pizza and a cold beer. Recently, this dream has come true for fans of BENEE, Passion Pit, and most recently, Hannah Jadagu, thanks to The Wild Honey Pie, an initiative by Eric Weiner (Founder/CEO) and Lucy Dennings (Partner/Head of Operations). Established in 2009, The Wild Honey Pie is a creative agency rooted in music blogging that cultivates community around artists and their works.

The intimate events organized by The Wild Honey Pie have not only birthed music videos and live album recordings but also led to playful brand collaborations and numerous viral TikTok videos created by devoted fans supporting their favorite artists.

During Hannah Jadagu's event at Paulie Gee’s in Brooklyn, NY, on October 23, 2025, attendees were encouraged to donate to Kiss the Ground, with a silent auction offering bids for exclusive prizes such as tickets, a signed record, and a 15-minute drinks session with Jadagu. Other sponsors included Spindrift, Consequence Daily, Sub Pop, Vessel Life Science, and Partiful. The occasion also highlighted the release of Paulie Gee and Mary Ann Giannonne’s latest cookbook, Pizza From The Heart, giving attendees the chance to take home a signed copy.

With Paulie Gee’s Restaurant as the setting and Spindrift as the Presenting Sponsor, around fifty fans of Hannah Jadagu gathered on Thursday, October 23, to savor New York pizza and Kirin Ichiban (another sponsor) in anticipation of the artist’s new album release.

Jadagu, a multi-talented singer/songwriter and guitarist recognized as a two-time Atwood Magazine Editor’s Pick and Artist-to-Watch, took to the stage with her yellow guitar to perform two tracks from her expanding discography. Her set radiated an authenticity and warmth that embodies her musical style, including the song “Doing Now,” a guitar-focused single from her latest album, Describe.

      “Now I’m feeling something,

      Only it’s a special thing

I tell you I’m really needing,

I know what we’re doing now

      Don’t need to be sure

When I’ve found a new release

Clearing up the fog that leads”

      – “Doing Now,” Hannah Jadagu

Although some categorize Jadagu’s sound as “bedroom pop,” her second album, Describe, showcases even more intimate lyrics, making The Wild Honey Pie an ideal venue for its delicate presentation. Released on October 24, Describe balances the upbeat vibes of her debut album, Aperture, with the maturity and introspection she has experienced since then. In an interview with NME, Jadagu described Describe as an “ebb and flow between analogue and the modern.”

As the event concluded, fans left with signed copies of Describe, complimentary bouquets, merchandise from sponsors, satisfied appetites, and cherished memories of an intimate experience with Hannah Jadagu, seated beside them.

The next Wild Honey Pie Pizza Party is scheduled for December 10 at Paulie Gee’s Restaurant, featuring a special stripped-down performance from St. Lucia. Whether you’re seeking a new music video from a beloved artist, a chance to engage with your top artist in person, or simply craving a delicious slice of pizza, stay updated on The Wild Honey Pie’s upcoming events via their website to fulfill your desires.
