Ethereal Scottish folk artist Jacob Alon has released a new live EP titled ‘the alon salon’. This five-track collection showcases live renditions of songs from their debut album ‘In Limerence’, which debuted earlier this year. The intimate performances were recorded with a live string section at Edinburgh's Mash House. Below is the tracklisting for ‘the alon salon’:

This release comes just weeks after the 2025 Mercury Prize was held in Newcastle, where their debut was nominated, and only a couple of days following their recognition as the BBC Introducing Artist of the Year. Jacob will conclude 2025 with several live performances, including two opening acts for Kae Tempest, before finishing with three final headline shows.
