Jack Whitehall will be the host of the BRIT Awards next year.

The comedian has a strong connection with the event, having hosted in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2025.

Returning for his sixth time as host, Jack Whitehall will take charge of the 2026 edition – and he will be in familiar territory.

Next year, the BRIT Awards will move to Manchester, a city Jack knows well, as he studied at the University of Manchester before pursuing a comedy career.

To mark his return, Jack Whitehall has written a tribute to Manchester, highlighting its evolution from the Industrial Revolution to the Curry Mile.

Jack stated, “I’m thrilled to return for this very special BRIT Awards in Manchester, a city that holds great significance for me. It’s where I began my comedy career, and coming back to host this momentous evening at the Co-op Live feels like a full circle experience, being so close to the comedy club where I performed my first 10-minute set years ago. I hope to get more laughs than I did then. I can't wait.”

Take a look at his tribute to Manchester below.

The BRIT Awards 2026 will take place on February 28th.
