Lisbon’s NOS Alive Festival continues to expand: the Portuguese weekend event has announced that industrial rock icons Nine Inch Nails will co-headline with Kings Of Leon on Saturday, July 12th. NIN's founder Trent Reznor and his band are widely regarded as trailblazers for bringing industrial rock into the mainstream during the '90s with their influential albums ‘The Downward Spiral’ and ‘The Fragile.’ Kings Of Leon, confirmed as headliners late last year, will showcase their latest album ‘Can We Please Have Fun,’ following their successful performance at the 2024 BST Hyde Park. Additionally, French electronic duo Justice have also been confirmed to perform on the NOS Stage this summer, joining recent additions such as Sam Fender, who will celebrate his upcoming third album ‘People Watching,’ and Bright Eyes, who will be presenting tracks from their new tenth studio album ‘Five Dices, All Threes.’ Festival-goers can also look forward to performances from headliner Olivia Rodrigo; Australian punk band Amyl and The Sniffers; former DIY cover stars Glass Animals; recent In Deep focus FINNEAS; electronic talent Barry Can’t Swim; DIY’s beloved cowgirl CMAT; and the ever-impressive St Vincent. This year’s NOS Alive will take place at Passeio Marítimo de Algés (near Lisbon) from July 10th to 12th, with tickets already available for purchase. Stay tuned for more lineup announcements coming soon; in the meantime, you can view the complete list of confirmed artists so far and revisit our review of the 2024 weekend below.
