Released recently, the song was featured during a swiftly viral performance at the NPR Tiny Desk Concert – marking his debut on the platform, it serves as an informal overview of his career, including several beloved tracks.
For this performance, he was accompanied by Brian Betancourt (bass), Frank LoCrasto (keyboards), and Austin Vaughn (drums), and they premiered ‘Priestess.’
With a bright Americana vibe enhanced by Cass McCombs' lyrical talent, the song emphasizes his strengths while also looking ahead.
