Sophie Ellis-Bextor has returned with ‘Relentless Love’ - a captivating danceable track of disco-pop that serves as a sequel to last year’s sparkling comeback song ‘Freedom Of The Night’. For this new release, Sophie collaborated with a talented group of pop creators behind the scenes: the writing and production were handled by Karma Kid (Rudimental, Shygirl), Baz Kaye (Jessie Ware, The Blessed Madonna), and JinJin (Raye), while mixing was done by David Wrench (Jamie XX, Hot Chip). “‘Relentless Love’ was inspired by my affection for funfairs and how the experience of falling in love can feel similar to the thrill of a ride,” Sophie explained regarding the new single. “Ferris wheels, roller coasters... these experiences can alter your perception of reality and give you an exhilarating rush. They can be unpredictable, yet they offer an exciting shift in perspective for a fleeting moment. There’s unquestionably a sense of romance in embarking on a ride together and discovering where it leads you.” Grab your cotton candy and immerse yourself in the fairground fun below.
