SXSW London Reveals Initial 100 Showcase Performers

The first 100 showcase acts for SXSW London have been announced.

The first edition of the SXSW London Music Festival is set to take place across various venues in Shoreditch this summer, from June 2nd to June 7th. Certain performances, such as Tems' show at the Troxy, have already been confirmed and have garnered significant attention, with organizers now revealing a slew of newly confirmed showcase acts.

Shoreditch Town Hall will host The House of R&B throughout the week, with CLASH cover artist Mabel kicking off the events.

Additionally, the Caribbean Music House will take over Strongrooms, featuring a special showcase by Deadly with Lila Iké in the live room, while those in the courtyard can enjoy Seani B’s Bruk Out session.

In other updates, alt-R&B artist NAO is set to perform at SXSW London, and Alice Glass will make a rare appearance at the Village Underground. Sasha Keable will also take the stage, as the festival combines well-known artists with fresh talent.

Details of the 100 unveiled acts can be found on the festival’s website.

Adem Holness, Head of Music for SXSW London, stated: “What I love about London is that you can exit any tube station and enter a unique community. I want our festival to reflect that — each music venue will serve as a gateway to a different international music scene. We are partnering with some of the most innovative figures in underground music to showcase the future of music through their distinct viewpoints, and I am incredibly excited about the artists they have selected.”

Individual music festival wristbands start at £65, available for purchase from April 14th, while three-day passes can be bought now for £595.

SXSW London will take place from June 2nd to June 7th.
