On September 4, 2025, LG Malique has released his latest mixtape, ‘Carved In Gold.’

This rising Southern rap artist is fully embracing his Living Gold philosophy. A string of singles has led to this moment, where LG Malique presents an entirely new mixtape.

Now available, ‘Carved In Gold’ consists of eight concise tracks that showcase LG Malique’s swift momentum.

Released through Warner Records, this project marks another step in his ascent, highlighting his impressive songwriting skills.

Teaming up with Jacksonville rapper Yungeen Ace, the two collaborate on the mixtape standout ‘Explaining How It Is,’ which has quickly become a fan favorite. The collaboration features two emerging rap talents intertwining their sounds, with lyrics that provide a candid insight into contemporary American life.

“This song represents raw, unfiltered truth without any embellishments,” says Malique about ‘Explaining How It Is.’ “Growing up in a situation that demands constant readiness alters you, and I’ve witnessed it far too often. Loyalty is paramount, especially regarding family, and I’ve endured too many losses to take things lightly. Even with my success, I remain focused because I understand how quickly it can all fade away. This transcends mere music for me; it is about survival, healing, and breaking a cycle.”
