      This four-member group has successfully triumphed in the Glastonbury Emerging Talent competition, competing against thousands of other submissions. The judges, hailing from various sectors of the music industry, lend significant weight to this platform for emerging talent.

      Named the champions of Glastonbury Emerging Talent 2025, Westside Cowboy is moving swiftly – they’ve just released their new single in its entirety.

      Now available through Nice Swan x Heist or Hit, the new single ‘Shells’ is a sharp indie track with a pop sensibility that makes complex themes more accessible.

      Known for their catchy hooks, Westside Cowboy collaborated in the studio with Lewis Whiting, a long-time favorite of Clash and member of 2024 Mercury Prize winners English Teacher.

      “‘Shells’ is essentially about acceptance. This includes recognizing what you have or understanding that change is unavoidable. The song is loosely inspired by a film, where the character comes to this realization. We’re still working towards that point ourselves. It’s perhaps a bit more sincere; it begins slowly, but it builds up quickly enough.”
