Ovrkast. Reveals Upcoming Album ‘While The Iron Is Hot’

      Bay Area rapper and producer Ovrkast. will release his second album 'WHILE THE IRON IS HOT' on May 30th through IIIXL.

      This announcement includes the vibrant new single 'I’M ON', characterized by soulful, golden tones and jazz-infused production, complemented by a surreal music video featuring the rapper's alter ego, Lil Tanner.

      The album, which includes the previously released 'SMALL TALK' featuring Samara Cyn, balances contemporary sounds with references to the sample-based production and lyric-focused style that defined hip-hop's golden era.

      Since the debut of his solo album 'Try Again' in 2020 and the six-track project 'RESET!' in 2023, Ovrkast. has been recognized as the next rising talent in Bay Area rap. A talented producer, he has worked with artists such as Drake, Earl Sweatshirt, redveil, and MAVI.
