Groove Doctors 3 has released their debut album, ‘Live And Let Live.’
The trio from the Midwest presents a genuine collection of tracks that bridge different time periods. With gritty riffs and crowd-pleasing hooks, the album showcases the group’s cohesive musicianship as they delve into themes of nostalgia and the challenging pursuit of peace. The title track stands out as an uplifting tune that blends elements of indie-rock and psychedelia, highlighting the band’s distinct sound.
Established in 2013, Groove Doctors 3 consists of guitarist and vocalist Mike Lawrence, drummer David Stowe, and bassist Glenn Chambers. This release is a significant landmark in their journey, contributing to a growing catalog of original works and performances.
Commenting on ‘Live And Let Live,’ Mike Lawrence states: “With ‘Live And Let Live,' my aim was to incorporate some thoughts about the core values of Peace, Love, and Tolerance into the music. The potential of music to inspire hope is incredibly powerful, and I strive to capture a bit of that magic with this album. Musically, as a long-time admirer of The Beatles and Motown, I aim to embrace the upbeat, guitar-driven, tightly harmonized vocal compositions typical of those classic rock and R&B styles. I hope you find enjoyment in it!”
