Madrid’s Mad Cool Festival has officially announced that rock legends Muse will be the headliner for Thursday, taking the place of Kings Of Leon on July 10th, after their lead singer Caleb Followill required emergency surgery due to a “freak accident.” The British band last performed on the Villaverde main stage in 2022, where they thrilled the audience with a powerful set full of energetic riffs and memorable choruses. They are now set to return for what will be their sole performance in Spain this summer. Throughout the weekend in July, audiences will also enjoy shows from international stars and fellow headliners like Iggy Pop, Weezer, and Olivia Rodrigo, along with DIY favorites such as St Vincent, Bloc Party, and recent In Deep digital cover artist Blondshell.
