Metronomy has announced the release of two special compilations reflecting their extensive career.
It's hard to believe that it's been 20 years since Joe Mount began releasing and performing under the name Metronomy, with the project evolving through various phases.
Now, Metronomy is poised to reminisce, revealing two unique compilations. ‘Greatest Hits’ does exactly what the name suggests – it encapsulates their work up to now, including early tracks, hits from ‘The English Riviera,’ and ‘Metronomy Forever,’ leading to their latest releases.
Scheduled for release on September 5th through Because Music, the package will also feature a different kind of compilation. ‘BBC Sessions’ includes 17 never-before-released live recordings, showcasing the support Metronomy has received from the broadcaster over the years.
Also launching on September 5th, two tracks are currently available online: ‘The Look’ and ‘On Dancefloors.’
