Joy Crookes has unveiled a new single titled ‘Perfect Crime’ in anticipation of her upcoming second album ‘Juniper’, which is set to be released on September 26th. The track was co-produced by Joy and Harvey Grant, and it focuses on the artist's journey to embrace her own strength. “'Perfect Crime' is about that daunting moment right before you re-enter the dating scene, when you need to take the plunge and dive into something,” Joy explains regarding her new song. “It’s sort of like my take on a mantra or doing positive affirmations in the mirror… this track is essentially me giving myself a motivational speech.” This new release follows her earlier singles ‘Carmen’, ‘I Know You’d Kill’, ‘Pass The Salt’ (featuring Vince Staples), and ‘Mathmatics’ (featuring Kano).
