The Glasgow-based quintet and former Class of 2023 members VLURE have announced details about their highly anticipated debut album, titled ‘Escalate’. The band, which made its debut with the single ‘Shattered Faith’ in 2021, will release their first full-length album on September 26th through Music For Nations. The album, produced by the band’s Conor Goldie in collaboration with Manni Dee (known for work with Daniel Avery and HAAi), will consist of thirteen tracks and features contributions from PSweatpants, Gaïa, and Bobby Gillespie.
In addition to the announcement of the album, the band has released the lead single ‘Feels Like Heaven’. According to frontman Hamish Hutcheson, the song “explores themes of hope, love, and life. I hope each listener finds a unique meaning in it; for me, it reflects the experience of finding the right person at the right time—someone who makes you feel complete and enhances your life, even during difficult days.” You can watch the video directed by Paris Seawell below, along with their upcoming live schedule, where they will be supporting Primal Scream throughout Europe and performing at several festivals.
