Brògeal Reveals Their First Album 'Tuesday Paper Club'

Set to be released on October 17th...

Brògeal will be unveiling their debut album ‘Tuesday Paper Club’ on October 17th.

The Scottish band blends raw indie rock with traditional folk elements, having received significant praise for their self-released debut EP.

Renowned for their captivating live performances, Brògeal tours consistently, cultivating a devoted fanbase along the way.

Scheduled for release on October 17th, the debut album ‘Tuesday Paper Club’ was recorded at Black Bay Studio on the Isle of Lewis. The five-piece collaborated with producer Richie Kennedy, known for his work with artists such as The Libertines, Cardinals, The Last Dinner Party, Interpol, Dua Lipa, Kylie, and U2.

The title track is available now and reflects the band's roots in the Scottish town of Falkirk.

      Vocalist Daniel Harkins shares…

I composed ‘Tuesday Paper Club’ as a poem while I was working behind the bar at an old man's pub in Falkirk called the Wheatsheaf. It was a Tuesday with about three customers quietly reading their newspapers.

Out of boredom, I crafted this little poem which ended up addressing older people's perspectives on the youth and their tendency to be bitter, forgetting they may have acted similarly, if not worse, in their own youth. I later added some chords and shared it with the band, and it quickly became a crowd-pleaser that we love performing live.
