Ashnikko Reveals Upcoming Album 'Smoochies'

      Alt-pop innovator Ashnikko is set to release their new album 'Smoochies' on October 17th.

      After unveiling their debut album 'Weedkiller' in 2023, Ashnikko embarked on an impressive series of tour dates.

      The forthcoming album 'Smoochies' marks their return, and it will be available for pre-order now, featuring 15 tracks and releasing on October 17th.

      'Smoochies’ feels like the older sister of ‘Demidevil.’ It's sexy, fun, and feminine, while also bordering on grotesque and absurd. I often feel like purse sediment – a chaotic mix of crumbs, gum, receipts, and forgotten lip gloss – and this album reflects that sensation. This is the first time I've written in a deeply autobiographical way, but the essence of it all revolves around personal freedom and playful whimsy.

      The new single 'Trinkets' is available now, accompanied by a stunning video created by Léa Esmaili.

      Regarding 'Trinkets,' Ashnikko shares: “My little princess boys, love being trinkets, adorning my bag, gazing up at me with smiles, swaying as I walk.”
