UK songwriter Jamie Woon has announced the upcoming album titled ‘3, 10, Why, When’.
He blended post-dubstep club sounds with introspective songwriting in his influential 2011 debut ‘Mirrorwriting’, before stepping back from the spotlight after his 2015 release ‘Making Time’.
Renowned as a songwriter, producer, and collaborator, he has worked with artists such as Elmiene, Lil Silva, and co-produced Holly Walker's solo debut ‘Unsung’.
Recently hinting at his return, Jamie Woon has started a Substack where he shares his musical experiences and plans for new works.
‘3, 10, Why, When’ marks his first album in ten years, featuring collaboration with producer Martin Terefe. “He’s incredibly humble despite having worked on major hits globally,” Jamie notes. “He recognized my struggles and stayed supportive. He kind of convinced me to create an album—we started with one song, then another, and once we reached ten, we decided that was the album.”
The album is available for pre-order now, and Jamie Woon will perform at a sold-out show at London’s Union Chapel on October 13th.
Two new tracks have been released—check out ‘When’ and ‘Pulling On A Thread’ below.
