The monthly music event, Worn Out Tuesdays, is returning to The Sebright Arms (31-35 Coate Street, East London E2 9AG) tomorrow, Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025, with support from Clash Magazine, Stance, and Venn Records.
This showcase offers free entry and is focused on highlighting the best emerging talent across various genres. Our aim is to feature up-and-coming artists without straining your finances during the cost of living crisis.
This month features three acts—grab your free ticket HERE.
**KEZ**
Poetry-Punk collective ‘KEZ’ is characterized by many things, but their willingness to compromise is not one of them. Comprised of exceptionally talented musicians (Taylor Barnes on guitar, Jack Wilson on bass, and Greg Rawson on drums), they are fronted by vocalist Jamie Thrasivoulou. An award-winning writer and poet, Jamie is also dedicated to conducting workshops that help society’s most vulnerable and marginalized express themselves through art.
His work embodies sharp self-reflection, unabashed pride in his roots, and a gritty refusal to submit to authority figures. These qualities have made Jamie a prominent voice for the working class; he has received acclaim for analyzing themes of class, criminality, masculinity, and mental health, even reciting his poetry at matches for his beloved Derby County F.C. The messages in his lyrics are intensified to ear-splitting levels in his new band, KEZ.
True to this spirit, KEZ’s songs are more about observing the world around Jamie than delving into his internal feelings. Their debut single, “SYM-PATHETIC,” critiques those who virtue-signal and get so caught up in their causes that they lose sight of the larger picture, often turning against each other. Meanwhile, their second single, “ON THE EVENING OF A FUNERAL,” examines the unusual reactions and divided sentiments surrounding the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. Is this music a cure for hypocrisy? To some extent.
**FEVER ROUGE**
Brighton-based band Fever Rouge has earned acclaim for their electrifying live performances, boasting a series of sold-out headline shows. Influenced by artists such as King Krule, Fontaines DC, Bloc Party, and Wunderhorse, they offer a modern spin with introspective lyrics and untamed energy, quickly garnering a following throughout the UK.
The band includes vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter Ollie Hughes, bass player Alain De Gouveia, the extraordinary metronome Oli Mooney, and Kieran King. Fever Rouge has gained recognition from various media outlets and radio stations for their vigorous live shows, having sold out Brighton’s Green Door Store and The Prince Albert, along with securing slots at The Alternative Escape and Pub in the Park.
They have supported acts like The Molotovs, Humane The Moon, Pleasure Inc, Mouth Culture, Die Twice, and McFly, among others. In 2025, the band will be touring extensively following the release of their expansive, genre-blending, politically charged EP “Feed The Villain,” featuring standout tracks like “Wetherman,” “The Mask,” and “You’ve Been Warned.”
**COWBOY HUNTERS:**
The child of punk rock has a robotic offspring that is exiled. With sick riffs and spite as his only comfort, this essentially tells the story of our ancestors.

Angelsaur’s second album, ‘The Girls Are Stressed,’ is a chaotic and cathartic exploration of heartbreak, identity, and self-worth—a “chaotic feast” of sound and emotion that turns disarray into unyielding honesty and intense, restless music. In an interview with Atwood Magazine, the Los Angeles duo discusses the internal struggles and catharsis that influenced their songs, the anxiety stemming from a precarious world, and the haunting beauty of the album's closing track, “Around You,” while also considering why their newest creation appears to be their most unified and authentic expression to date.
