After a breakthrough year filled with international tours, headline performances, and remixing the Pet Shop Boys, I. JORDAN returns with the fresh single ‘Without You’, which serves as the vibrant lead track from the upcoming EP ‘Free Falling’.
In ‘Without You’, the Doncaster-born, London-based producer achieves a blend of emotional sincerity and dancefloor energy, highlighting the unifying power of dance music.
The track features urgent percussion, pulsating basslines, and a powerful vocal from ASHWARYA that encapsulates the spontaneous connections that clubs are designed to foster.
Crafted late at night in a hotel room in Paris after a performance, and polished over several sessions, the song radiates the raw energy of that unforgettable evening.
Jordan shares: “I aimed to capture that magical moment when you lock eyes on the dancefloor and everything else fades away."
This theme of openness permeates throughout ‘Free Falling’: ‘An Angel’ serves as a tribute to creativity, ‘Thinking About You’ expresses introspective yearning, and ‘East Coast Line’ reflects on family relationships during a train ride back to Doncaster.
“I’ve unintentionally created an EP filled with love songs,” Jordan reveals. “And I’m not upset about it.”
