The Paris-based duo Kiss Facility has just released their latest single ‘Flesh Mix’, available through ambient tweets.
Consisting of Emirati-Egyptian artist Mayah Alkhateri and producer Salvador Navarrete (aka Sega Bodega), the ethereal and sensual ‘Flesh Mix’ marks the first single from their upcoming debut album.
Regarding the release, the duo commented: “It embodies raw emotions and sexual desires (hence the title Flesh Mix), obsession, and devotion. The lyrics are inspired by Mayah's imagination, narrating a story about cravings and control. Each track on the album is a love story told from varied perspectives.” Kiss Facility merges influences from shoegaze and indie rock with the cultural Arabic elements of Mayah's background to challenge perceptions of identity, creativity, and freedom.
Since the launch of their debut EP ‘esoteric’ in 2023, Kiss Facility has performed at Pitchfork Festival Paris and had their 2024 single ‘plasma’ sampled in Fred Again.. and Skepta’s ’21 Years’, which was released last week.
