Lady Gaga releases a video for ‘The Dead Dance’ directed by Tim Burton.

      Not satisfied with having released one of the year's most significant albums—her seventh LP 'MAYHEM,' of course—Lady Gaga has now gifted us an early Halloween hit with her new track 'The Dead Dance.' Similar to her latest album, this single is a quintessential classic that harkens back to the energetic synth-pop of Gaga's early career, while also featuring an infectious disco bassline. Fans of the Netflix series Wednesday will be delighted as well—the song is part of the Season 2 (Part 2) soundtrack, and Gaga makes a brief appearance as Rosaline Rotwood. Additionally, the highly anticipated official video for 'The Dead Dance' is wonderfully eerie and rich in choreography, just as we had hoped: filmed on Mexico's Isla de las Muñecas, it showcases a collaboration between Gaga and iconic filmmaker Tim Burton, bringing the notorious dolls of the location to life. Gaga expressed, “The inspiration for ‘The Dead Dance’ was a breakup, focusing on how we sometimes feel when it ends; how the conclusion of a relationship can extinguish our hope for love.
