Following the recent release of 'new friends',
UK singer-songwriter flowerovlove has unveiled her latest single, 'I’m your first', released through Capitol Records. This vibrant pop track, produced by Steve Boy and 444BOY, sees flowerovlove inform her partner that she is their first baddie. She delivers an energetic performance on this end-of-summer anthem with lines like, “it’s exciting baby u should come own it / It’s a milestone it’s ur big moment / in your crush career you got promoted / I’m your trophy / come hold it.”
‘I’m your first’ serves as a follow-up to ‘new friends’, which was released by the singer in June. CLASH described it as “a carefree summer single… filled with lively energy. Lyrically, flowerovlove embodies the relatable girl-next-door embracing positivity in her life.”
The 20-year-old artist is set to support Haim on select dates in September, including the opening night at the TD Pavilion at the Mann in Philadelphia.
In the music video for her new single, directed by Matty Peacock (Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande), flowerovlove delivers a charming performance from atop a pedestal.
