Yazmin Lacey has released a new single titled 'Wallpaper.'
The singer-songwriter is celebrated for her voice and powerful lyrical prowess, with Yazmin Lacey creating entire realms through her music. Her upcoming album 'Teal Dreams' will be available on October 24th via AMF Records, and it may represent her most expansive work to date.
The artist collaborates with various producers on this album, exploring different aspects of her creative process. The newly released single 'Wallpaper' serves as a modern interpretation of a 21st-century Lover’s Rock anthem, revitalizing the sound popularized by Janet Kay and others into a contemporary form.
Having grown up surrounded by the sounds of Lover’s Rock at family gatherings, this tribute draws on the Caribbean elements of her background, while also integrating modern production influences.
