Nia Archives and CLIPZ collaborate on their new single ‘Maia Maia’.
The DNB powerhouse returns, as Nia hosted a special Up Ya Archives broadcast on NTS radio last week, unveiling a variety of exclusives.
Now available, the new single ‘Maia Maia’ fuses UK system culture with elements of the Brazilian carnival season. This fast-paced, vibrant, and vividly colorful club track features Nia Archives alongside her close friend and collaborator CLIPZ.
She shares…
"Clipz and I aimed to capture some Brazilian junglist energy with ‘Maia Maia’, inspired by legends like DJ Patife and DJ Marky. When we entered the studio, our goal was to create a track that could serve as the soundtrack for the 2026 World Cup. I had stumbled upon an amazing samba group sample and combined it with an old Juno-106 I had just acquired, and that's how ‘Maia Maia’ came to life."
Additionally, Nia Archives is scheduled to host a special Warehouse Project takeover on November 15th – featuring five rooms curated by the newgen junglist, promising to be a must-attend rave experience.
