Agency dismisses reports...

WME has labeled claims that Dua Lipa terminated one of their agents as “categorically false.”
Earlier this week, it was reported that Dua Lipa had let go of David Levy, who had signed an open letter advocating for Glastonbury to remove Kneecap from the lineup for the summer.
Despite significant speculation in advance, Kneecap's performance at Worthy Farm was within acceptable parameters, with Somerset Police, who were asked to look into the complaints, stating that the Northern Irish band had no case to respond to.
However, the controversy persisted, and reports surfaced earlier this week indicating that Dua Lipa had ended her association with David Levy.
An industry source informed The Mail on Sunday: “Dua ensured through her team that David Levy would no longer be involved with her music. She is very openly pro-Palestine, and that conflicts with David’s stance.”
WME has since moved to refute this as “categorically false.” A spokesperson for the agency stated:
Reports implying that Dua Lipa or her management dismissed one of our agents based on his political beliefs are categorically false.
David Levy was instrumental in Dua’s early career (2016-2019) and is recognized both internally and in industry publications as part of her team. When he relocated from London in 2019, he took on an advisory position and has not participated in Dua’s daily operations since. Levy entirely stepped back from her projects, among others, earlier this year.
Dua Lipa has not publicly addressed the reports.
