Indigo De Souza collaborates with tour companion Mothé on the new track ‘Serious.’

Following the release of her latest album ‘Precipice’ (available now through Loma Vista Recordings), Indigo De Souza has unveiled a brand new single, a collaboration with her friend and tourmate Mothé. Describing it as “a reflection on overthinking - and trying not to,” ‘Serious’ features Indigo sharing affirmations of releasing control with the LA alt-pop artist, reminding herself to “loosen the tight grip I’m often holding internally.” She elaborated on the track by stating, “Life is a heavy experience, so making time to let loose is vital! This song captures that moment when you choose not to care who’s watching and simply dance wholeheartedly. It’s about embracing joy. I absolutely loved performing this song with my friend Mothé. They have such a lovely voice, and writing with them is a blast. I’m thankful we created this song together, and I’m really looking forward to the chance to perform it several times on the upcoming tour!” Be sure to check out our recent interview with Indigo and watch the video for ‘Serious’ below. Indigo will be touring with Mothé this Autumn, performing at venues across the US, as well as at the Pitchfork Festival in Paris and London, before returning to North America next spring for another headlining tour.
