Lola Young has announced the cancellation of all her upcoming live performances and promotional events.
The British singer-songwriter has had a hectic 18 months, releasing two studio albums and scheduling numerous live shows. Her latest album, ‘I’m Only F**king Myself,’ was released a few weeks ago, after which Lola traveled to the United States for promotional appearances.
While performing at several live events, a visibly exhausted Lola Young collapsed onstage at the All Things Go Festival in New York over the weekend. Concerned fans took to social media, with the singer later stating, “I am doing okay now. Thank you for all of your support, Lola xxx.”
In a recent statement, Lola Young has called off all upcoming live appearances. “I’m stepping away for a while,” she shared, apologizing to any fans affected by her decision.
“I’m stepping away for a while. It saddens me to announce that I must cancel everything for the foreseeable future,” she expressed in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
“Thank you for all the love and support. I’m truly sorry to disappoint anyone who has purchased a ticket to see me; it pains me more than you know. Of course, you will receive a full refund.”
“I sincerely hope you’ll give me another chance once I’ve taken some time to focus on myself and return stronger. Love you all, Lola x.”
