Klein has unveiled her latest ambient mixtape, ‘sleep with a cane’.
As a key figure in the underground music scene, Klein's recent work includes some remarkable highlights. This year has already seen the release of ‘thirteen sense’, and the upcoming ‘marked’ in 2024, along with the highly praised 2023 release ‘touched by an angel’.
Currently available, ‘sleep with a cane’ is distributed by Roc Nation and showcases Klein at her most abstract. Through fragmented interpretations of UK production elements, she reconstructs them within her unique vision, leading to a creation that is both complex and cohesive.
Along with the mixtape, Klein has released an 11-minute self-directed experimental music video for ‘Informa’—the film focuses on double dutching (a recurring motif in her live performances), exploring the experiences of being young, Black, and free while under observation.
