      In a recent announcement, Dolly Parton revealed that she is postponing her Las Vegas residency, citing the need for “a few procedures” to address ongoing “health difficulties.”

      The 79-year-old singer experienced the loss of her husband, Carl Dean, earlier this year, and details regarding her health concerns have not been made public.

      In a message, her sister Freida Parton appealed to fans for prayers for her sister.

      “Last night, I spent the entire night praying for my sister, Dolly,” she shared. “Many of you are aware that she hasn’t been feeling her best recently. I firmly believe in the power of prayer, and I feel compelled to ask everyone who loves her to join me as prayer warriors.”
