London-based artist Tora-i returns with her latest single, 'Glaze'.
The alt-R&B artist connects deeply with her audience, as Tora-i's soulful honesty captivates listeners. Her 2023 project, ‘& What Else?’ was a standout moment, featuring a series of expressive singles released in the following year.
Now available, ‘Glaze’ marks the beginning of a new chapter. Shared on social media with the description “as in sun kissed,” this track embodies her evolution.
An exquisite creation, ‘Glaze’ was developed in collaboration with EMIL – who has recently worked with Mick Jenkins on a full-length project – showcasing one of her most vibrant vocal performances to date.
The song is set to be premiered at a special event in Tottenham tonight, tackling the theme of “questionable decision-making when the sun shines.”
Reflecting on her path during a 2021 interview with Clash, Tora-i remarked, “as a person, you’re not just one-dimensional; with my music, I aimed to highlight the many facets of who I am.”
