Gorillaz have released a new track titled ‘The Manifesto.’

The multimedia collective held a unique residency – along with an exhibition – in London last August, culminating in a special live performance featuring entirely new material.

Their upcoming studio album ‘The Mountain’ is set to be released on March 20th, with the lead single ‘The Happy Dictator’ featuring contributions from art-pop icons Sparks.

The new song ‘The Manifesto’ includes Argentine rap sensation Trueno, whose dynamic flows bring a lively touch to this Gorillaz track. D12 rapper Proof, a regular collaborator with Gorillaz, also features, showcasing previously unreleased freestyle lyrics from the late rapper that add a unique layer to the song:

“You aren’t ready for death/Until I showed up, hold breath/Until you blow the on one set…”

The song carries a spiritual essence, as Russel Hobbs reflects:

“As space dust we are here forever and that’s a mighty long time. This is a musical meditation infused with light. A journey of the soul, accompanied by beats…“

      Tune in now.
