A few weeks after the release of his latest single, Oliver Sim has unveiled a tranquil new track titled ‘Telephone Games’. This warm electro-pop piece strikes a flirty tone and features production from his regular collaborator Bullion, who also produced the earlier single, ‘Obsession’. These two tracks represent his first new work since his debut solo album ‘Hideous Bastard’ and come after a busy summer with his bandmates in The xx, who recently performed together at both Milan Fashion Week and Jamie xx’s LIDO show. Additionally, they are officially collaborating on their next album, their first since 2017’s ‘I See You’. Alongside Oliver’s latest track, he has also released a wonderfully irreverent video directed by photographer and filmmaker Sharna Osborne. Check it out below.
The second album of the quintet, titled ‘God Save The Gun,’ is scheduled to be released tomorrow.
We are partnering with Gotobeat to present a special event at The Lexington on November 11th!

His most recent track, produced by Bullion, comes after ‘Obsession’, which was released last summer.
