The Open Wild have released their newest single, ‘Escape’.
This track features the talents of Gabriel John, Rachel Everall, Elliot Corner, and Melody Lin, allowing for a moment of reflection. With a minimalist arrangement of piano and strings, Everall’s emotionally charged vocals build momentum, offering a cinematic experience that explores tension.
Entirely written and produced by The Open Wild, ‘Escape’ represents the band’s most powerful work to date. Originating from an unexpected meeting in South West London, it has been an exhilarating time for the group, who made their first appearance with ‘Rose In The Universe’ earlier this year.
Regarding the creation of their latest release, The Open Wild expressed: “One band member had a profound experience related to mental health, and from the struggle to overcome this situation, this track emerged. ‘Escape’ addresses emotional turmoil while maintaining hope for a way out.”
