She’s expressing her truth...
Welsh glam-pop sensation CATTY has released her new EP ‘Bracing For Impact’ in its entirety.
Now available, the EP is preceded by a series of vibrant singles, with CATTY reflecting on her position within the music industry during this phase of her career.
A natural rebel, her bold style and inherent honesty ensure an engaging experience, with ‘Bracing For Impact’ presenting several personal revelations.
Crafted over a year, CATTY balances feelings of frustration and joy, her sharp humor paired with some of her most captivating melodies.
CATTY remarks…
I spent a year of my life trying to shield myself so much that I forgot to truly live. This entire EP is essentially me admitting that I’m terrified of failing, I’m terrified of being hurt, I’m terrified of not having a happy ending, but I deserve to live life.
‘Bracing For Impact’ is basically my declaration of presence, I know who I am, I’ve been in this industry for a decade, put me on your stages! I’ll pour my heart out while performing and you’ll see it manifest through my music. It’s strange not to be writing breakup songs right now, I thought that was where I thrived, so if anyone needs me to bash their boyfriend, I’m available to write for others and I would enjoy that.
Listen now.
CATTY will headline a sold-out show at Colours Hoxton in London on October 30th, followed by supporting Beth McCarthy on a UK tour throughout November.
