Bingley post-hardcore band Marmozets has made a comeback after a seven-year hiatus with their intense new single ‘A Kiss From A Mother’. After a lengthy break during which vocalist Becca and guitarist Jack Bottomley welcomed a daughter and tied the knot, the now-quartet has released their first new music since their 2018 album ‘Knowing What You Know Now’, under their new label, Nettwerk. Picking up seamlessly from where they left off, the track delivers an unrestrained sonic onslaught, anchored by Becca's powerful screams. Becca explained the song's message, emphasizing the importance of truly listening rather than merely responding impulsively. “Most people can relate to the idea of allowing advice to resonate rather than passing it off quickly. As for my voice, it reflects my true self! I’m not adopting a persona; I’m pouring everything into it.” Be sure to check out the fierce performance video below. Along with their fresh release, the band has announced a series of live shows: they will perform four gigs next month, leading up to a larger UK tour in early 2026.
