Yungblud has had to cancel several high-profile live performances after undergoing health checks.
It has been a monumental year for the UK artist, who is fully embracing his rock phase. His dynamic presence, such as during Ozzy Osbourne's final live performance, attracted significant media attention.
The artist recently announced that he must cancel several upcoming performances due to concerns raised by his doctors regarding his health.
Consequently, performances this month in Philadelphia, Cleveland, and Washington DC have been cancelled, along with appearances in Latin America.
In a statement, Yungblud expressed that making this decision was difficult but he intends to make it up to his fans.
He shared:
“This year has been truly remarkable, and I feel incredibly fortunate for everything that has transpired. After returning from the road this week and undergoing routine tests, I discovered that my voice and blood tests indicated some health concerns. My doctor has advised me to take a break from touring until the end of the year. It is in my nature to push myself relentlessly for the music and for you, but this time I have been instructed to take it seriously and not take any risks.
I sincerely apologize for this situation. Unfortunately, I must cancel all shows through the end of the year, including those in Philadelphia, Cleveland, Washington, Mexico City, and Latin America. My heart is shattered. I don’t want to cause myself any lasting harm; this journey is one I wish to last forever. I recognize that some of you may be frustrated. This decision was incredibly hard for me, but I promise to make it up to you.
All US tickets will be refunded. If you provide your address at the link, I will send you a gift. I have never taken anyone’s love, support, or energy for granted. You mean everything to me. But I need this time. USA, I will see you next year. Mexico and LATAM, we are already planning my own shows there that will be more affordable for next year as well. It’s going to be incredible. I’m excited. Dom x”
