Man/Woman/Chainsaw have joined Fiction Records.
The band is a powerful force in live performances, with their set at The Great Escape this year generating significant excitement. Man/Woman/Chainsaw embodies a truly maximalist sound, prompting Fiction Records to seize the opportunity to represent them.
Fiction Records, already home to artists like The Cure, St. Vincent, The Horrors, and Billie Marten, marks the start of their collaboration by releasing a new single from Man/Woman/Chainsaw.
Out now, “Only Girl” delivers an exuberant dose of experi-pop, with the multi-talented group focusing on immediacy and directness.
The track was recorded at RAK Studios with producer Seth Evans and Margo Broom, and it has quickly become a highlight of their dynamic live shows.
Vera – the lead vocalist on the song – shares her thoughts:
“Only Girl is our playful love anthem. Originating from a lively violin melody and stemming from a gritty guitar jam, it evolved into something more exuberant and joy-filled – a true declaration of love. We had a blast creating it.”
Tune in now.
Man/Woman/Chainsaw will perform at London’s Omeara on December 2nd.
