A member of Balming Tiger embarks on a thrilling solo journey inspired by the internet.
On November 26, 2025, Mudd, a student and member of the avant-garde K-pop group Balming Tiger, released his debut full-length album titled ‘LAGEON’.
The album features 14 tracks that reflect Mudd’s complex identity as he delves into the concept of a “rootless generation,” blending elements of punk, hip-hop, IDM, and pop in a vibrant mix.
The internet plays a crucial role in the context of this album; it serves as a means to discover new music and build connections, while also being a breeding ground for mockery and negative comments. This contrast is woven into the fabric of glitchy rap and ’90s alternative rock influences.
Mudd took the initiative in writing, composing, and producing the album alongside co-creator JNKYRD. Collaborative contributions include Korean singer-songwriter Parannoul, New York-based rapper and producer Harto Falión from the collective Surf Gang, and Japanese underground artist that same street, recognized for his vocaloid screamo style.
Visual and creative direction for the project was spearheaded by fellow Balming Tiger member Hong Chanhee. To enhance the album's narrative visually, seven music videos were created, each designed to deepen the album's emotional impact. They will be released one after the other.
Tune in now.
