The punk poet is hitting the road...

Dr. John Cooper Clarke has announced a significant UK tour and a new book release.

The iconic punk poet received wide acclaim for his outstanding 2020 memoir, I Wanna Be Yours, with his work embraced by a younger audience. His 2024 book, WHAT, quickly became a Sunday Times bestseller, and his upcoming book, Have It, is set to be released in Autumn 2026.

In addition to this, Dr. John Cooper Clarke has revealed plans for a large-scale nationwide tour.

The 20-date tour is scheduled for Autumn 2026, commencing in Southend on October 7th, and will feature performances at Bristol Beacon, Brighton’s Theatre Royal, and the historic London Palladium.

The tour will conclude at Edinburgh's Queens Hall on November 27th, with tickets going on sale this Friday (December 5th) at 10 am via www.gigsandtours.com and www.johncooperclarke.com.

      Jimmy Eat World is set to perform three major outdoor concerts in the UK next summer to celebrate their album ‘Bleed American’.

      This album has become a fundamental part of modern emo and alternative culture, allowing Jimmy Eat World to connect with a new generation of fans. As a significant milestone, ‘Bleed American’ will be honored through three large outdoor performances next summer.

      In celebration of the album’s 25th anniversary, Jimmy Eat World will take the stage at the Piece Hall in Halifax on August 14th. They will then perform at Cardiff Castle on August 15th, before concluding the outdoor series at Gunnersbury Park in West London on August 16th.

      Jim Adkins shared, “When we finalized the last mix of ‘Bleed American’, we sensed we had accomplished something significant for ourselves. We had no way to measure how it would resonate with listeners beyond the studio, and we remain amazed at the life this record and its songs have enjoyed since their initial launch. Bleed American belongs to you as much as to us, and we want to celebrate it with all of you in a unique way.”

      Joining Jimmy Eat World will be special guests Rise Against, along with support acts The Get Up Kids and Jay Som.

      Presale tickets will be available at 10am on Thursday, with all tickets going on general sale at 10am on Friday through www.ticketmaster.co.uk.
