Jimmy Eat World is set to perform three major outdoor concerts in the UK next summer to celebrate their album ‘Bleed American’.
This album has become a fundamental part of modern emo and alternative culture, allowing Jimmy Eat World to connect with a new generation of fans. As a significant milestone, ‘Bleed American’ will be honored through three large outdoor performances next summer.
In celebration of the album’s 25th anniversary, Jimmy Eat World will take the stage at the Piece Hall in Halifax on August 14th. They will then perform at Cardiff Castle on August 15th, before concluding the outdoor series at Gunnersbury Park in West London on August 16th.
Jim Adkins shared, “When we finalized the last mix of ‘Bleed American’, we sensed we had accomplished something significant for ourselves. We had no way to measure how it would resonate with listeners beyond the studio, and we remain amazed at the life this record and its songs have enjoyed since their initial launch. Bleed American belongs to you as much as to us, and we want to celebrate it with all of you in a unique way.”
Joining Jimmy Eat World will be special guests Rise Against, along with support acts The Get Up Kids and Jay Som.
Presale tickets will be available at 10am on Thursday, with all tickets going on general sale at 10am on Friday through www.ticketmaster.co.uk.
See Jimmy Eat World at the following dates:
