Jawnino and Surf Gang Release Joint Project 'Amnesia'

A collaboration of underground stars from both sides of the Atlantic.

New York City-based collective and label Surf Gang, founded by the acclaimed Brooklyn producer Evilgiane along with key members Harrison, EERA, and Goner, has partnered with underground UK rapper Jawnino for their joint project ‘Amnesia.’

Recorded completely in London, this 9-track album embodies the after-hours energy of a deteriorating urban environment, traversing through cloud rap, ambient trap, and generous portions of drum and bass, creating an intensified, dreamlike journey for night owls.

‘Amnesia’ follows the lead single ‘Alise,’ produced by Harrison, marking the inaugural collaboration between the producer collective and Jawnino since the Evilgiane-produced track ‘3styl3’ from his breakout 2024 album ‘40.’

Surf Gang’s diverse sound incorporates plugg, cloud rap, drill, and neo-electronic styles. Embracing a DIY approach, Surf Gang also serves as a media hub and label, facilitating music releases under their name while allowing members the freedom to pursue individual projects.

Croydon-born rapper Pozer has released a new collaborative single with Liverpool's Kasst 8 titled 'What’s Good.'

This energetic, aspirational tribute to relentless hustle follows Pozer’s earlier single 'Jersey King' and his EP 'Against All Odds.' After captivating audiences at Reading & Leeds and Latitude this past summer, winning a MOBO, and earning a spot on BBC’s Sound of 2025 list with endorsements from Stormzy, Dave, and AJ Tracey, Pozer has established himself as one of the most important fresh voices in British rap.

In 'What’s Good,' the duo shares their origin stories, discussing their rise from the streets to mainstream success. The result is "a track that embodies both vintage flair and fierce energy, combining old Hollywood glamour with a modern edge."

At 27, Toxteth's Kasst 8 is making waves as one of the North West's most powerful emerging talents, skillfully merging Liverpool slang with Jamaican-Nigerian influences.

The accompanying music video, directed by Ray Solace, resembles a reimagined blockbuster, showcasing Pozer and Kasst as the leading characters in their own contemporary noir narrative.
