Canadian songwriter Cold Specks will unveil her new album ‘Light For The Midnight’ on April 9th.
This album was shaped over the past two years, and sees the Canadian artist – also known as Al Spx – condensing intricate experiences into a collection of 10 tracks.
The record was created in Toronto and Bristol, with the songwriting collaborating on production duties alongside Adrian Utley and Ali Chant. It features string arrangements by Owen Pallett (Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey, Sampha) and additional contributions from Graham Walsh of Holy Fuck.
She shares,

The album is now available for pre-order and is introduced by the new track ‘Lingering Ghosts’ – a haunting composition with an ethereal arrangement, which you can listen to below.
